The Children's Cheer Classic... The word cheerleader is often overlooked. In a literal sense the term means a person who is optimistic and encourages others for the benefit of their team. Today as cheerleaders you represent something more. You represent hope and advocation of literacy in young children everywhere. Give your all and compete with a full heart today, show sportsmanship and have fun performing, then when its all over, win or lose, feel great because somewhere a child is being helped because of you. Your participation is integral to the success of the “Reach Out and Read” program and benefits the children's hospital more than you may ever be aware. The So You Think You Can Cheer Competiton is the perfect oppertunity for local schools to come and do something with the rivalries that are already in place! Do you want to show off what your squad can do and take home bragging rights at the same time? Then SYTYCC is the perfect competition for your team!
